Is there a difference between belief and faith?
If faith is a gift, what does that mean for those who struggle with doubt?
How do we distinguish between productive doubt that leads to greater faith and doubt that leads to spiritual stagnation?
Can doubt be seen as part of the spiritual journey rather than a weakness?
How does reason complement faith in our spiritual development?
How can we respond to others’ doubts in a way that encourages them to continue seeking truth rather than disengaging?
Come explore these questions with Terryl Givens and guest, Jared Halverson (PhD, Vanderbilt), as we continue to explore The Big Questions.
If attending Big Questions is cost prohibitive, please email events@thecompassgallery.com for details on need-based discounts. Standby seating available for free (subject to availability) to students and young adults.
